Nolan completed doctoral coursework in Educational Psychology at the University of Toledo and has a Master’s in ESL and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. He has traveled a bit in Canada, Western Europe, Dominican Republic, Japan and South Korea. He has lived and worked in Japan and in every corner of the U.S., except Alaska and Hawaii. Nolan is currently an Associate Editor for the Asian EFL Journal. He especially enjoys teaching courses that involve exploring themes in the behavioral and social sciences, as well as literature, culture and cinema. In his leisure, he enjoys reading, hiking, cross-country skiing, tennis, and chess.
